Specialized Treatments

In addition to general treatment approaches, Dr. Ruppert is trained in Progressive Counting, a trauma-informed treatment model designed to assist with trauma resolution. Progressive Counting utilizes a structured approach to trauma resolution that is well tolerated by clients and can be easier to engage in than other trauma treatment modalities. It is helpful in reducing or eliminating symptoms such as anxiety, depression, guilt, anger, and post-traumatic reactions.

Progressive Counting is helpful through its use of desensitization, emotional processing, gaining perspective, and other means. If you have experienced a significant loss or have a history of trauma, please reach out to Dr. Ruppert to see if Progressive Counting may be an appropriate and beneficial treatment for you.
